UMTH Family Medicine Department Visits Al-Ansar University VC to Mark World Family Doctor Day

In commemoration of World Family Doctors Day, the Family Medicine Department of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, Prof. Fanna Inna Abdulrahman.

The visit highlighted the vital role of family physicians in promoting quality healthcare, preventive medicine, and community wellbeing. It also reflected the strong and growing relationship between Al-Ansar University and UMTH through the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which continues to strengthen collaboration in research, medical training, academic development, and professional exchange.
