Unauthorized Occupants Cause Chaos in UDUS Hostel

Students at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto's Jubril Aminu hostel are facing challenges due to unauthorized occupants. Legitimate students who have paid for their accommodation are being forced to share spaces with unlicensed students, leading to congestion, theft, and security concerns.

Some students have reported frequent theft of foodstuffs and valuable items, while others have experienced disturbances and tampering with their properties. The situation has become so dire that some students have been forced to relocate to private hostels.

University authorities have promised to address the issue, urging students to report incidents and assuring that unauthorized occupants will face action.
