The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has inducted 56 postgraduate students into its PhD, Master’s, and Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Gender Studies and Social Work for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has inducted 56 postgraduate students into its PhD, Master’s, and Postgraduate Diploma programmes in Gender Studies and Social Work for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The induction ceremony, held at the Main Campus, brought together key stakeholders in gender and security development, including representatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and the Nigeria Forest Security Service.

In his keynote address, Dr. Linus Okorie, President of the Guardians of the Nation International (GOTNI), who delivered the induction lecture, emphasized the importance of leadership, social justice, and inclusion in addressing gender-related challenges and promoting equitable social development.
