UNIABUJA VC Reaffirms Commitment to Strategic Partnerships with Government and Corporate Bodies

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), Prof. Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, has reaffirmed the University’s commitment to collaborating with individuals and corporate organisations to strengthen institutional capacity and contribute to national development.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), Prof. Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, has reaffirmed the University’s commitment to collaborating with individuals and corporate organisations to strengthen institutional capacity and contribute to national development.

Prof. Fawehinmi made the statement while receiving, at separate times, the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Mr. Dasuki Arabi, and the Managing Director of the Nigerian University Pension Management Company Ltd (NUPEMCO), Mr. Aliyu Atiku, during courtesy visits to his office.

Mr. Arabi said his visit aimed to explore potential collaborations with UNIABUJA on capacity-building initiatives, while Mr. Atiku noted that his team was at the University to congratulate the Vice-Chancellor on his appointment and to present NUPEMCO’s proposed corporate social responsibility programmes for the campus.

In response, Prof. Fawehinmi assured both organisations of the University’s readiness to partner with them in initiatives that promote societal development.
