UNICAL Issues Notice on Hostel Allocation Revocation

The University of Calabar (UNICAL), through its Students Affairs Division, has issued an official notice warning students of the impending revocation of hostel allocations for those who fail to meet the payment deadline.

According to the memo signed by the Dean of Students, Prof. Egaga Patrick Ikani, the payment window for hostel charges for all successful allottees on the first list will close by midnight on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

The notice stated that any student who fails to complete payment within the stipulated time will have their name automatically removed from the list, and the space will be reallocated to other students who are ready to make the required payments.

Students are therefore advised to adhere strictly to the deadline to avoid forfeiting their hostel accommodation.
