UNIDEL Clarifies Clearance Requirements for Newly Admitted Students

The management of the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has warned newly admitted students against following erroneous and misleading directives concerning documents required for the ongoing clearance exercise.

The university said its attention had been drawn to instructions allegedly being issued by some Faculty Officers regarding additional documents that are not part of the officially approved clearance requirements.

To ensure a uniform and streamlined clearance process across all faculties, the university management clarified that the following documents are not required for the ongoing clearance exercise:

1. Medical Registration/Clearance
2. Medical Fee Printout
3. Reference Letter from a Clergyman, Imam, or Senior Civil Servant
4. Reference Letter from a Sponsor or Guardian
5. Guarantor Form
6. Oath Form

Directives to Faculty Officers

The university management directed all Faculty Officers to strictly adhere to the officially approved clearance guidelines.

Faculty Officers were instructed to immediately stop requesting any of the documents listed above. The management warned that failure to comply with the directive would attract appropriate administrative sanctions.

Directives to Newly Admitted Students

Newly admitted students have been advised to disregard any instruction demanding any of the listed documents as part of their initial clearance process.

Students are to proceed with their registration and clearance using only the officially published requirements.

The management appealed for the cooperation of all staff and newly admitted students to ensure a smooth and hassle-free clearance exercise.
