The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has extended the online screening exercise for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) admission.

The registration portal will remain open from October 2 to October 9, 2025.

The entire exercise is being conducted fully online, with no physical registration required.

Candidates applying for admission must meet the following criteria:

 * Only those who selected UNIJOS as their first choice will be visible on the portal.

 * UTME candidates need a minimum score of 180, though some courses require higher marks.

 * Direct Entry applicants must pay the screening fee and complete the process online.

 * O'level results must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS before candidates can register.

 * Candidates must confirm they meet the departmental cut-off before registering; otherwise, they should change their course on JAMB CAPS.

 * Applicants must accept their admission on JAMB CAPS within four weeks once offered, or it will not reflect on the UNIJOS portal.

The registration process is straightforward and is completed entirely on the University's portal:

Step 1: Create an Account

 * Visit the University of Jos portal: https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/.

 * Select "FORMS APPLICATION" and choose "2025 UTME/DE Screening".

 * Enter your JAMB registration number and click "Get Started".

 * Fill in your details, submit, and check your email for an activation link.

Step 2: Pay the Screening Fee

 * Return to the portal and log in with your email and password.

 * On your dashboard, click "Make Payment" and follow the instructions.

 * Print your portal receipt and the Remita receipt sent to your email.

 * After payment, click "Proceed" and print your screening summary.

While the general cut-off mark is 180, several faculties and programmes require higher scores.

 * Faculty of Agriculture: 180 (Agricultural Science).

 * Faculty of Arts: Faculty cut-off is 200, with Mass Communication and Theatre and Film Arts at 200, Philosophy at 180, and all other programmes at 180.

 * Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences: Biochemistry - 200.

 * Faculty of Computing: Faculty cut-off is 220, with Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security Science, Data Science, and Information Technology at 200, and Computer Science and Software Engineering at 180.

 * Faculty of Clinical Sciences: Medicine and Surgery - 250.

 * Faculty of Dental Sciences: No Admission.

 * Faculty of Education: Faculty cut-off is 180, with all programmes at 180.

 * Faculty of Engineering: Civil, Electrical Electronics, Mechanical, and Mining Engineering are 190, with all other programmes at 180.

 Faculty of Environmental Sciences: Faculty cut-off is 200, with Architecture at 180 and all other programmes at 200.

 Faculty of Health Science and Technology: Faculty cut-off is 220, with Nursing Sciences and Medical Laboratory Science at 220, and Bachelor of Radiography and B.Sc. Physiotherapy at 200.

 Faculty of Law: Law - 230.

 Faculty of Management Sciences: Faculty cut-off is 200, with Accounting, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship Studies at 200, and all other programmes at 180.

 Faculty of Natural Sciences: Faculty cut-off is 200, with Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology, and Forensic Science at 200, and all other programmes at 180.

 Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Doctor of Pharmacy - 230, and B.Sc. Pharmacology - 200.

 Faculty of Social Sciences: Faculty cut-off is 200, with Psychology, Economics, Criminology, Public Administration, and Social Work and Social Administration at 200, and all other programmes at 180.

 Faculty of Veterinary Medicine: Veterinary Medicine - 220.
