The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has instructed students in specific categories to re-upload their passport photographs and signatures on the institution’s Identity (ID) Card portal, studentid.unilag.edu.ng.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has instructed students in specific categories to re-upload their passport photographs and signatures on the institution’s Identity (ID) Card portal studentid.unilag.edu.ng.
The exercise must be completed before the set deadline.
The affected categories include:
- All newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
- Returning students yet to collect their ID cards who have written to the Directorate of Academic Affairs.
- Students who have lost or misplaced their ID cards and can provide evidence of payment for a replacement alongside a police report.
The university emphasized that the passport photograph must be on a white background and must strictly follow the guidelines indicated on the ID card portal. It also warned that ID cards will not be printed for students who fail to comply.
The deadline for the upload of passport photographs and signatures is 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025.
