The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has issued a final reminder to all students allocated hostel bed spaces to complete their registration and check-in procedures before the stipulated deadline to avoid losing their accommodation.

In a notice addressed to affected students, the university directed those who have been allocated bed spaces but have neither registered nor checked in to complete both processes on or before Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Students who have completed their hostel registration but are yet to check in have also been instructed to report to their respective hostel offices or porters to complete the check-in process before the same deadline.

The university further advised students to complete the check-in process in person and present evidence of their bed-space allocation or registration.

The university emphasised that no extensions would be granted and urged all affected students to comply with the directive to avoid losing their accommodation.

UNILAG also clarified that hostel payment and check-in for the 2026/2027 academic session are subject to payment for the session and registration for the first semester. Students must ensure that both requirements have been fulfilled before proceeding with hostel check-in.

Additionally, the university stated that students who have made the necessary payments but subsequently refuse to move into their allocated hostels will not be entitled to a refund.
