UNILAG’s Dr. Chika Yinka-Banjo Honored at 2025 Nigerian Achievement Awards
The Head of the Department of Computer Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Dr. Chika Yinka-Banjo, has been recognized among Nigeria’s distinguished achievers at the 2025 Nigerian Achievement Awards, organized by People and Power Communications Limited, publishers of People State & Resource (PSR) Magazine.
The Head of the Department of Computer Sciences, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Dr. Chika Yinka-Banjo, has been recognized among Nigeria’s distinguished achievers at the 2025 Nigerian Achievement Awards, organized by People and Power Communications Limited, publishers of People State & Resource (PSR) Magazine.

Dr. Yinka-Banjo received the award in acknowledgment of her pioneering role as a leading female voice shaping the future of intelligence systems, STEM innovation, and ICT development in Africa. Her contributions to nation-building through technological advancement and education have positioned her as a transformative leader in the field. She had previously been recognized in 2024 with the PSR Woman of Merit Gold Award (WMGA).
