UNILORIN, Rudn Varsity Sign Mou On Election Monitoring, Academic Collaboration

The UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN, UNILORIN, and RUDN University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, on election monitoring and academic collaboration.

The agreement is aimed at strengthening institutional partnership between the two universities in areas of research, capacity building, and democratic governance support.

Under the MoU, both institutions will work together on election monitoring initiatives ahead of #NigeriaDecides2027, as well as joint academic programmes, staff and student exchange, and collaborative research.

The partnership is expected to leverage UNILORIN’s expertise in social sciences and democratic studies and RUDN University’s international experience in academic cooperation and global engagement.

University Management noted that the collaboration aligns with UNILORIN’s vision of expanding global linkages and contributing meaningfully to national development through research and civic engagement.

The MoU further reinforces UNILORIN’s commitment to producing knowledge and graduates that impact society, while also broadening opportunities for academic exchange and international visibility for both institutions.
