UNIMAID Students Sought for Renewable Energy Training

The University of Maiduguri is calling for nominations from interested students to participate in a renewable energy training program under the Energizing Education Programme (EEP) Phase II. This initiative aims to provide clean and reliable energy to federal universities across the country.

The training program, designed for 100 students, will be conducted by Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor DEC/MCC. The program's objective is to equip students with skills in renewable energy and operation and maintenance.

Interested students should submit their names to the SRO in Room 3 at the Student Affairs Division or the President SUG, University of Maiduguri immediately. This program is part of the university's efforts to enhance students' knowledge and skills in renewable energy, aligning with the Federal Government's electrification strategy and sustainable development goals .
