The University disclosed this in a press release, stating that the exercise follows a decision of the Finance and General Purpose Committee (F&GPC) of the Governing Council.
All persons occupying or owning illegal structures on University premises have been advised to remove their belongings and vacate the affected areas before the commencement of the demolition exercise.

According to the University, the exercise is aimed at restoring order, ensuring compliance with its regulations governing the use of University premises and maintaining a safe and conducive environment.
All concerned persons have been urged to comply with the directive and cooperate with the relevant University authorities to ensure the smooth execution of the exercise.
The demolition exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 5, 2026.
