The Basic Medical Science Student Association (BAMSSA) of the University of Uyo has introduced stricter security measures for students attending night classes during the ongoing examination period.
According to a memo signed by BAMSSA Vice President, Comr. Felix A. Andrew, all students are now required to carry a valid means of identification, such as a school ID or any government-approved ID, when attending night sessions.

The directive will be enforced immediately, with strict verification checks to prevent unauthorized access and ensure a safe, focused study environment. BAMSSA emphasized that the measure aims to maintain order and security rather than intimidate students, urging full compliance to support a productive academic atmosphere.
The memo was formally issued by Blemos, P.A. to the Vice President, and underscores BAMSSA’s commitment to discipline, security, and student welfare.
