University Of Abuja Collaborates with Nigerian Institutions on AI and Nuclear Energy

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of University of Abuja, Professor Patricia Manko Lar, recently received delegations from three Nigerian universities and the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC) to discuss collaborations on Embedded Artificial Intelligence and nuclear energy.

 

The universities participating in the Master's degree program in Embedded Artificial Intelligence include the University of Abuja, University of Port Harcourt, and Obafemi Awolowo University, among others.

Professor Lar emphasized the importance of embracing artificial intelligence and its potential to revolutionize work and problem-solving. She also expressed the university's eagerness to renew its Memorandum of Understanding with NAEC.

Engineer Anthony Ekedegwa, acting chairman of NAEC, commended the university's dedication to implementing the national nuclear energy program and stressed the need to integrate nuclear technology into Nigeria's education curricula.
