University of Calabar Declares Lecture-Free Week for 2026 Students’ Union Week Celebration

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar has approved Thursday, 22nd January to Saturday, 24th January 2026 as a lecture-free period to mark the 2026 Students’ Union Week celebration.

In line with this directive, all Provosts, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Institutes, and Heads of Departments have been requested to suspend academic activities during this period, allowing students to fully participate in the planned activities and events.

On behalf of the Vice Chancellor, students are wished a hitch-free and memorable Students’ Union Week.
