University of Ilorin VC Hails Governor Abdulrazaq's Appointment as Sarduana of Ilorin

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, CON, on his appointment as Sarduana of Ilorin by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR.

Prof. Egbewole described the appointment as "befitting and well-deserved," citing the Governor's excellent personal qualities, numerous contributions, and exemplary impacts as a political leader and distinguished son of Ilorin.

The Vice Chancellor also appreciated the Governor's efforts in maintaining peace and harmony across Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State, which has benefited the University.

Prof. Egbewole, who is also the Secretary-General of the Association of West African Universities (AWAU), thanked the government and people of Kwara State for their support to the University since its establishment.

He wished the Governor a successful tenure.
