University of Jos Releases Urgent Notice On Second Phase of Condonement of Illegal Admissions

The University of Jos has received a circular from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announcing the commencement of the second phase of the condonement of candidates who were admitted without being processed through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), despite having JAMB registration numbers .

Eligible Candidates:

- Candidates admitted from 2017 onwards with JAMB registration numbers, but not processed through CAPS.

- Candidates with JAMB registration numbers, admitted between 2017-2020, but not included in the institution's earlier declaration.

The deadline for disclosure is September 30, 2024. No declarations will be entertained after this date.

This measure aims to address previously abused admission windows, reaffirming JAMB CAPS as the sole authorized platform for admissions .
