Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has announced the commencement of admissions into the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The programme, which leads to the award of JUPEB Certificate, enables successful candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into UNIZIK and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad.
According to the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Okeke, eligible candidates must possess a minimum of five credit level passes at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their intended course of study, including English Language.
The programme runs for one academic session of two semesters, with subject combinations available across Arts, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Sciences.

Method of Application
- Visit jupeb.unizik.edu.ng.
- Click on JUPEB Portal.
- Generate Application Invoice by providing Name, State of Origin, Phone Number, and Email.
- Use the generated RRR to pay at the bank or online.
- Return to the JUPEB portal and fill the application form.
- Print out the completed application form as acknowledgement slip.
General Information
- Applicants must regularly check the University’s website for updates on admission status.
- All candidates must register for the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry during the programme.
- Valid email addresses and personal phone numbers are required.
- Forms must be submitted online; printed copies will not be accepted.
- Candidates are strongly advised to follow instructions carefully and select the correct subject combinations.
