UNIZIK Medical School Secures Full Accreditation, Admission Quota Increased from 100 to 300

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has granted full accreditation to the MBBS programme of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) following its recent accreditation exercise.

The accreditation comes with an increase in the university's medical school admission quota from 100 to 300 students.

The development follows the conclusion of the MDCN's re-accreditation exercise for the MBBS programme and accreditation exercise for the proposed Dental programme at UNIZIK.

Reacting to the development, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, expressed gratitude, saying, "I can't thank God enough, His mercy and grace are my only strength."
