UNIZIK Vice-Chancellor Receives CACORP Delegation
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, received a delegation from the Centre for Agripreneur and Co-operative Research/Practices (CACORP), led by Dr. Nma Okechukwu Okorji, on Monday.

During the visit, Dr. Okorji congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his appointment, describing it as divinely timed and widely welcomed. She also highlighted CACORP’s achievements, including the cultivation of 2,000 plantain suckers, 800 Malaysian hybrid coconut seedlings, construction of a borehole, and collaboration with the Anambra State Coordinator of FMAFS.
Prof. Anyaehie expressed appreciation to the delegation and urged them to develop sustainable strategies to promote CACORP’s programmes, emphasizing innovation and practical impact. The Vice-Chancellor also thanked the group for appointing him as Chairman of the Board.
The visit featured the presentation of a bag made from coconut husk, a customized T-shirt, and a ceremonial planting of a coconut tree by the Vice-Chancellor.

Members of the delegation included Prof. Pius V.C. Okoye, Prof. Frank Nwankwo, Dr. Ogochukwu E. Okafor, Dr. Eucharia Obidiebube, Dr. Clara C. Anugwu, Taiwo Olabisi Abdulahi, Dr. Ikenna Nwokedi, Nonyelu Nkiru, Dr. Uko Ibeabuchi, and Victoria Thomas.
