Yobe State Scholarship Board ES Visits Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Rector to Strengthen Collaboration

The Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Scholarship Board, Dr. Abubakar Kagu, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu.

The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Scholarship Board and the institution, particularly in the areas of student welfare and educational development.

While receiving the delegation, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance access to quality education for students from Yobe State.

Dr. Abubakar Kagu explained that the visit formed part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to engage with tertiary institutions, assess students’ needs, and ensure the effective implementation of scholarship programmes across the state.
