BUK Vice-Chancellor Leads Inspection of CBT Centres Ahead of 2026 UTME

Professor Haruna Musa Danbatta, FSI, Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), alongside the outgoing Chief External Examiner for Kano State Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Coordinator of the Chief External Examiners Group, Prof. Mukhtar Atiku Kurawa, and the Kano State Coordinator of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), conducted an inspection visit to selected Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in Kano State ahead of the 2026 JAMB registration and examinations.

The visit was aimed at assessing the facilities, infrastructure, and technical readiness of the centres for accreditation in line with JAMB standards. The team expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness while emphasizing the need for strict adherence to accreditation guidelines to ensure the smooth and credible conduct of the examinations.
