Yobe State University Appoints Dr. Sani Isa As Dean of Student Affairs

The Management of Yobe State University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Sani Isa as the new Dean of Student Affairs, effective from 15th September 2024, for a period of two years.

The Vice Chancellor, on behalf of the University Management, has approved this appointment.

As Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Sani Isa will be responsible for:

1. Ensuring adequate support services and effective communication channels between the University Management and students.

2. Coordinating campaigns to promote campus peace and overall student development.

3. Overseeing campus religious services.

4. Providing guidance and counseling services to students.

5. Developing an efficient system of communication between the University authority and students.

6. Managing the student career center, entrepreneurship center, and guidance and counseling unit.

7. Maintaining decency on campus and preventing unwholesome practices.

8. Ensuring adequate accommodation for students.

9. Overseeing maintenance services.
