200 Admission Seekers Receive Oyetola's Scholarship Grant Under Ilerioluwa Education Support Scheme

No fewer than 200 students from Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Anambra, and Benue States have been awarded scholarships through the Ilerioluwa Education Support Scheme, a scholarship initiative led by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola. The initiative targets students who excelled in their Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations, with beneficiaries scoring above 200.

The scholarship presentation ceremony took place over the weekend at the Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Osogbo, Osun State. Each of the recipients received financial support to further their education as part of the ongoing effort to promote academic excellence and empower young Nigerians to pursue higher education.

Engr Olalekan Badmus, Executive Director of Marine and Operations at the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA), and facilitator of the initiative, presided over the presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries. Badmus emphasized the importance of education as a transformative tool and reiterated Oyetola's commitment to supporting the academic aspirations of Nigerian students through various initiatives aimed at fostering educational development.
