2023 Elections: Gov. Okowa reveals he has misplaced his WAEC Certificate

As the 2023 elections draws nearer, Delta state Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has revealed that he has misplaced his West African Examinations Council (WAEC) certificate.

Myschoolnews reports Gov. Okowa, who is also the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Vice-presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2023 elections made this disclosure at thebDelta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro in Isoko North LGA recently.

He however disclosed that he had a printout from the college he attended to stand in for it, He said 

"On the issue of my certificate, I think it is a misconception. People try to play politics with everything. “Yes, I lost my WAEC certificate but I have the print out from Edo College, Benin City, which clearly stated that I have distinction in all subjects. “The Higher School Certificate was attached and it has been acknowledged by Edo College and the school put it out there that I made an ‘A’ `B’ `B’."

This is coming amidst the heat of the 2023 elections ravaging the country.
