ABU Completes Upload Of Staff, Students' Details To TETFund BIMS Platform

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has announced the successful upload of the details of its academic staff, non-academic staff and students to the Beneficiaries Identity Management System (BIMS) platform.

BIMS is an identity management system developed by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) to provide users with a single sign-on access to various TETFund platforms.

In a Special Bulletin issued on Wednesday, 4th November 2026, the University Management informed all members of the University community that all users will receive a mail from BIMS and will be required to log in and verify their accounts.

According to the notice, staff are to use the onboarding emails sent to their registered email addresses, while students should log in using their registered email addresses and the default password "student" to verify their accounts.

All concerned are kindly advised to complete the process promptly.
