The Management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, has disavowed unauthorized advertisements circulating on social media for admissions into new academic programs.

The advertisements, which were posted on Facebook and WhatsApp without the university's approval, included calls for applications for UTME/DE admissions into degree programs in the new Faculty of Computing and Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship in the Faculty of Management Sciences, as well as PGD programs in the Human Resource Development Directorate (HRDD).

The university has urged the public to disregard these advertisements, emphasizing that official communications are only issued through the Office of the Registrar or the Directorate of Information and Public Relations.

The university regrets any inconvenience caused by these unauthorized advertisements and advises prospective students to rely solely on official channels for information on admissions.
