Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Reviews School Fees for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has reviewed its school fees for the 2024/2025 academic session. The review, which was approved by the university management, affects both fresh and returning students.

The increment is specifically attributed to increases in Municipal Services and Sport Levy. Fresh students will pay N20,000 for Municipal Services and N1,000 for Sport Levy, while returning students will pay N15,000 and N200 respectively.

The university has also announced the breakdown of the new fees for various faculties. Students in all faculties, except for the College of Medical Science and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, will pay N84,900 for returning students and N118,700 for fresh students.

Students in the College of Medical Science will pay N145,200 for returning students and N189,000 for fresh students, while those in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will pay N115,200 for returning students and N159,000 for fresh students.

The Students' Union Government (SUG) has assured students that it will engage with the university management to ensure that students' welfare remains a priority. The union has urged students to cooperate and understand the reasons behind the fee review.
