Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has announced a revised schedule of school fees for both fresh and returning students for the 2024/2025 academic session. The review, which includes adjustments for Municipal Services and the Sport Levy, was approved by the university management.
For fresh students, the new school fees are set at N118,700, while returning students in all faculties will pay N84,900. The fees for students in the College of Medical Science have also been updated, with fresh students required to pay N189,000 and returning students N145,200. Similarly, students in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will pay N159,000 as fresh students and N115,200 as returning students.
The new fee structure also includes an acceptance fee of N18,000 for fresh students, while hostel charges remain unchanged. The Sport Levy for all students has been adjusted to N1,000 for fresh students and N200 for returning students.
The Students' Union Government (SUG) has expressed understanding of concerns related to the fee increment and reassured students that their welfare will remain a priority as they engage with the university management.
The revised fees are effective immediately, and students are advised to take note of the changes.
