Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Students Involved in Fatal Road Accident

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) students on Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) were involved in a fatal road accident along Misau-Hardawa road in Bauchi State on November 24, 2025.

The accident claimed the lives of the driver and one student from the Faculty of Management Sciences, while several others from the Faculty of Environmental Technology suffered severe injuries and were hospitalized.

The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU) of ATBU has expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, praying for their souls to rest in peace .
