The week-long event will include the conferment of first degrees, postgraduate diplomas, higher degrees, and presentation of prizes.
According to the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olugbenga E. Ige, all events will take place at designated venues on the university campus, with the University Multipurpose Hall serving as the main convocation arena.

- Keep-Fit Exercise at University Sports Centre, 6:00 a.m.
Monday, 8th December 2025
- Press Conference by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olugbenga E. Ige, at the Senate Chamber, 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, 9th December 2025
- Research, Development and Innovation Fair & Convocation Play at Students Relaxation Centre (Western Campus) and Multipurpose Hall, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Wednesday, 10th December 2025
- Friendly Match at University Sports Centre, 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, 11th December 2025
- Convocation Lecture titled “Strengthening the Academic Tradition in the Nigerian University System,” delivered by Prof. Wole Olaniyan, former Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan, at the Multipurpose Hall, 2:00 p.m.
- Graduands’ Cocktail at Senate Building Piazza, 5:00 p.m.
Friday, 12th December 2025
- Conferment of First Degrees for faculties including Administration & Management Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, and Institute of Education at the Multipurpose Hall, 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, 13th December 2025
- Conferment of First Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas & Higher Degrees for Faculties of Agriculture, Arts, Environmental Design & Management, Law, Science, Postgraduate School, and award presentations at the Multipurpose Hall, 10:00 a.m.
- Convocation Dinner at Senate Building/Guest House, 10:00 a.m.
Sunday, 14th December 2025
- Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service at the Multipurpose Hall, 10:00 a.m.
The university administration emphasized that all activities are designed to celebrate academic excellence, recognize outstanding students, and strengthen the university community’s engagement with alumni, staff, and partners.
