Addressing attendees, Prof. Popoola said, “I am excited to be here, and I also thank God for bringing us to the month of November. The Lord has been very good to us as an institution. We have our challenges, but we have a God who never fails. Today attendance is very great; let us continue to pray for this institution. The challenges are there, but one day the Lord will come to our aid, and we shall overcome our problems. I want to plead with us to be patient and continue to trust our Administration; we shall not let you down.”

Earlier, a senior member of the AFUED Prayer Committee, Pastor Paul Adebayo, urged the congregation to cultivate unwavering confidence in God. Speaking on “Having an Unshakeable Confidence in God,” the cleric, also a senior staff member at AFUED, emphasized that people should trust in God as the Creator and Supreme Power over all things.

He noted, “Children of God will always be targeted by the enemy, who seeks to convince them that there is no God. In today’s world, people will say, ‘if you cannot beat them, join them.’ Please don’t join the devil; come to the side of God, and there will be a better tomorrow.”
