ADUSTECH VC Awards N3m in Scholarships to Research-Oriented Postgraduate Students

The Vice Chancellor, Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil and the Project Team Lead, Gender, Climate Change and Nutrition Integration Initiative (GCAN) has offered scholarships to three (3) Postgraduate Students whose research aligned with the project objectives.
The students consist of one (1) PhD and two (2) MSc students.
The PhD student was offered One Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (#1,500,000.00) while each of the MSc students was awarded the sum of Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (#750,000.00).
The students were selected following a rigorous process of screening undertaken under the Chairmanship of Professor Aliyu Baba Nabegu.
The students include:
1. Ibrahim Muhammad Bello, PhD Plant Breeding
2. Omar Tanko, MSc Agricultural Economics
3. Ibrahim Lawal Isa, MSc Agronomy.
Earlier, the Director, Centre for Agricultural Research (CARD), Prof. Ahmad Usman Shuaib presented the awardees.
The event was attended by some staff of the University including Prof. Abdullahi M. Dawakin Kudi, Prof. Aminu Umar Fagge, Prof. Auwal Ibrahim Magashi, Dr. Sulaiman Shehu Said, Dr. Munir Yawale, Dr. Aliyu Garba Khaleel, Mukhtar Tukur.
