 In a strategic move to bolster its global academic standing, the Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University, Professor Olalekan Asikhia, has approved the hosting of the Education Collaborative Open House Day.

Organised by the Centre for Grants and Endowments in partnership with The Education Collaborative Network, the event is scheduled for Wednesday, 25th February 2026. The initiative is part of the University’s ongoing commitment to strengthening academic innovation, cross-border research, and the professional development of its workforce.

Theme: Strengthening Institutional Engagement

The Open House serves as a formal orientation for faculty and staff regarding Caleb University’s membership in The Education Collaborative—a global network dedicated to transforming higher education in Africa.

Key focus areas of the session include:

Communities of Practice (CoPs): Collaborative groups for knowledge sharing.

The event will feature Professor Isaac Akinwumi, a member of the Education Collaborative Technical Committee (West Africa Hub), as the Guest Speaker. He is expected to provide technical insights into how staff can leverage the network's resources to achieve institutional excellence.
