Federal University of Kashere Appoints Associate Professor Tukur Abba as Substantive Librarian

 In a testament to academic excellence and strategic leadership, the Governing Council of Federal University of Kashere (FUK) has officially confirmed the appointment of Associate Professor Tukur Abba as the institution's substantive University Librarian. 

Dr. Abba’s appointment follows a highly successful one-year sabbatical at FUK, during which his exceptional professional capabilities and leadership qualities earned him the confidence of the University’s highest decision-making body.

A Legacy of Excellence from MAU Yola

The appointment further solidifies the reputation of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, as a premier incubator for high-level university administrators. Dr. Abba, a native of Yola South LGA, Adamawa State, previously served as the University Librarian at MAU Yola before transitioning to his new role in Gombe State.

This achievement highlights a growing trend of MAU Yola staff assuming leadership positions across Northern Nigeria, including the current Registrar and Librarian of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi.

In a statement released on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Management, and the entire University community, MAU Yola expressed immense pride in Dr. Abba’s career milestone.
