 In a testament to academic excellence and strategic leadership, the Governing Council of Federal University of Kashere (FUK) has officially confirmed the appointment of Associate Professor Tukur Abba as the institution's substantive University Librarian. 

Dr. Abba’s appointment follows a highly successful one-year sabbatical at FUK, during which his exceptional professional capabilities and leadership qualities earned him the confidence of the University’s highest decision-making body.

The appointment further solidifies the reputation of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, as a premier incubator for high-level university administrators. Dr. Abba, a native of Yola South LGA, Adamawa State, previously served as the University Librarian at MAU Yola before transitioning to his new role in Gombe State.
