Ngeagle Airline Chairman Sustains Multi-Million Naira Scholarship for 20 MAU Medical Students

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ngeagle Airline, Alhaji Abdullahi Ahmed (popularly known as Abdu Dollar), has continued his scholarship support for twenty (20) students studying Medicine at the College of Medical Sciences, Modibbo Adama University, Yola, with the payment of Five Million, Nine Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira (₦5,930,000.00) into the University’s account.

The scholarship, which is a continuous award, covers the beneficiaries’ school fees for the entire academic session, including tuition, registration, accommodation, feeding, and other related charges, as the students progress into 200 Level.

Presenting the cheque to the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Rukaiyatu Bashir Ribadu, the Managing Director of Ngeagle Airline, stated that the intervention was part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility, aimed at strengthening education and contributing to the training of future medical professionals.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the university, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibrahim Umar expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a significant contribution toward supporting students in the medical profession.

He noted that this was not the first time Alhaji Abdullahi Ahmed has demonstrated commitment to educational development within the University.

He recalled his ₦3 million donation to the Department of Political Science in 2024, as well as his sponsorship of a senior University Professor to attend an international conference in Lusaka, Zambia, describing him as a consistent and dependable partner in the University’s growth and development.
