UNIMAID VC Inspects Faculty Projects, Commends Dean’s Proactive Leadership

The Vice-Chancellor University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Faculty of Management Sciences to inspect projects he had earlier approved and initiated for the faculty.

The visit enabled the Vice-Chancellor to assess firsthand the level of progress made on the various developments aimed at improving both the physical infrastructure and academic environment of the faculty.

The projects have recorded significant advancement in line with the administration’s objectives.

During the inspection, Professor Mele observed key improvements including the renovation of toilet facilities, repainting of the entire faculty complex, landscaping and beautification through flower planting, as well as the refurbishment of the conference room. 

He expressed satisfaction with the standard and speed of execution, and commended the Dean, Professor Adam Konto Kyari, for his diligent supervision and commitment to ensuring the projects met the university’s standards.

The Vice-Chancellor then reiterated the university management’s continued support, assuring the faculty of its commitment to providing the necessary resources to sustain growth and development within the Faculty of Management Sciences.

In his remarks, Professor Kyari Adam Konto, conveyed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for the visit and for the consistent support from the university management. He reaffirmed his dedication to effectively overseeing ongoing and future projects, while striving to advance the academic and administrative goals of the faculty."
