The Management of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) has announced that the rescheduled 14th Matriculation Ceremony will hold on Wednesday, 11th March 2026.

The Management of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) has announced that the rescheduled 14th Matriculation Ceremony will hold on Wednesday, 11th March 2026.

The ceremony will include:

  1. All newly admitted 100-level students for the 2025/2026 session.
  2. All students transferring into the University for the 2025/2026 session.
  3. Students who deferred admission in the 2024/2025 session without matriculation.

The Vice-Chancellor has directed staff handling registration to facilitate and ensure all qualified freshmen who have paid their basic fees are registered and issued Matriculation numbers.

Students should note that while matriculation numbers may be issued without full payment of all fees, eligibility to sit for examinations requires payment of all approved ancillary fees.

All first-year students are urged to complete their registration promptly to secure their matriculation numbers; failure to do so will result in forfeiture of admission.
