FUTES-Iyin Deploys Shuttle Buses for Staff and Students at Subsidised Rates
The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-Iyin), has approved the deployment of shuttle buses to convey staff and students commuting from Ado-Ekiti to the university at a subsidised rate.

The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-Iyin), has approved the deployment of shuttle buses to convey staff and students commuting from Ado-Ekiti to the university at a subsidised rate.
The initiative, approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor James Olugbenga Aribisala, follows the resumption of returning students and ahead of the arrival of fresh students on Monday, November 2, 2026.
According to the university's notice, the shuttle buses will operate from designated pick-up points in Ado-Ekiti to facilitate transportation for staff and students travelling to the institution.
The designated pick-up points are:
- Fajuyi Park, Ado-Ekiti.
- Opposite Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, along the New Iyin-Ekiti Road, Ado-Ekiti.
The buses are scheduled to arrive at the pick-up points by 7:00 a.m., while departure will be at exactly 7:45 a.m.
Staff and students who intend to use the service have been advised to make adequate arrangements and arrive at their preferred pick-up points early, as the buses will depart strictly according to the schedule.
