The Inaugural Lecture by Professor Edna A. Akpan will now take place on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Senate Building, Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden, Mpat Enin L.G.A.
Additionally, the 16th Matriculation Ceremony has been rescheduled to Friday, April 24, 2026.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor OtoAbasi E. Akpan, on behalf of the University Senate, extended an invitation to the university community, stakeholders, and the general public to attend both events.
The Office of the Registrar, led by Dr. Ebi G. Eno-Ibanga, FNIM, emphasized that the adjustments were made to accommodate the upcoming public holiday while ensuring full participation in these key academic events.
