The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), will hold its 116th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with discussions centred on green technology and environmental sustainability.
The lecture, titled “Harnessing Green Technology for a Sustainable Future Environment,” will be delivered by Professor Babatunde Saheed Bada, a Professor of Environmental Management and Bioremediation in the Department of Environmental Management and Toxicology, College of Environmental Resources Management (COLERM).
The event is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building, with guests expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.
Professor Bada's areas of academic expertise include Environmental Management, Soil Science, Environmental Control and Management, and Bioremediation, disciplines that are critical to addressing emerging environmental challenges and promoting sustainable development.

The Vice-Chancellor of FUNAAB, Professor Babatunde Kehinde, will serve as the Chief Host.
