Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Appoints Dr. (Mrs.) Mfreke Umoh as Head, Department of Software and Web Development

The Management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has officially announced the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Mfreke Umoh as the new Head of the Department of Software and Web Development.

The appointment is described as a strategic move aligned with the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation-driven leadership within the technology space. Dr. Umoh is expected to strengthen the department’s capacity to meet the evolving demands of modern tech education and industry standards.

Prior to this new role, Dr. Umoh served as the immediate past Head of the Department of Computer Science, where she was widely recognized for her strong administrative leadership, academic discipline, and meaningful contributions to departmental growth and development.
