Al-Ansar University Hosts SIWES Orientation Programme for 300-Level Students

Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, recently organized a Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) orientation programme for its 300-level students. The event was held at the University Auditorium Hall and was conducted in collaboration with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abubakar M. Kundiri, emphasized the significance of SIWES in providing students with practical industry experience, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application. He encouraged students to approach their placements with seriousness, integrity, and a passion to learn and excel.

The Registrar, Malam Bukar Usman, highlighted the importance of discipline, responsibility, and professionalism during the training period. He assured the university's continued support to students throughout the process.
