ATAPOLY Mourn The Loss Of Dr. Saleh Garba

The academic community of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi (ATAPOLY), has been thrown into mourning following the passing of Dr. Saleh Garba, a highly respected lecturer at the institution. 

The news of his death, which broke on Friday, January 23, 2026, has prompted a wave of tributes from colleagues and students who described the deceased as a dedicated scholar and mentor. 

In accordance with Islamic rites, the funeral prayer (Janaza) is scheduled to take place today:

Time: 2:00 p.m.

Location: Unguwar Kur, Railway Road, Bauchi. 

The Polytechnic community and well-wishers have offered prayers for the repose of his soul, asking that he be granted Aljannatul Firdaus.
