ATBU Appoints Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba as New Vice Chancellor

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has appointed Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba as its new Vice Chancellor.

Professor Garba, a renowned biochemistry scholar, brings extensive academic and administrative experience to his new role. He has held various positions within the university, including Dean of the Faculty of Science and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Admin).

A distinguished fellow of the Poverty-Related Diseases and Development College, Professor Garba holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry and has received advanced training from international institutions.

He has served as a visiting professor, external examiner, and member of accreditation and resource verification panels of the National Universities Commission.

With his wealth of experience and academic excellence, Professor Garba is poised to lead ATBU to greater heights.
