ATBU Bauchi Dominates NIESV Zonal Quiz; Set to Represent North East at National Finals

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has emerged as the undisputed champion of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) North East Regional Quiz Competition. 

The intellectually rigorous contest featured three prominent institutions from the region:

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi

Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP), Bauchi

Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi 

At the conclusion of the rounds, Team ATBU secured a landslide victory with a total of 33 points, significantly outperforming the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (11 points) and Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (10 points).

The victory was spearheaded by the exceptional brilliance of team members Deborah Bamidele and Hassan, whose professionalism and mastery of Estate Management and Valuation earned them high praise from the judges and the regional NIESV leadership.

By virtue of this outstanding performance, ATBU has secured its spot to represent the entire North East Region at the NIESV National Conference scheduled to take place in Abia State in April 2026.

The university management and the Department of Estate Management have extended their congratulations to the team for bringing pride to the institution and maintaining its reputation as a center for academic excellence in the built environment sector.
