The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has announced the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for academic and non-teaching positions across several faculties and departments.

According to the announcement, the recruitment covers positions ranging from Senior Lecturer to Assistant Lecturer for academic roles, and Laboratory Technologist I & II for non-teaching roles. Applicants are advised to review the specific requirements for each category before submitting their applications.

Key Requirements

  • Senior Lecturer: PhD or equivalent professional qualification (FWACS, FMCP, FMCPath), with at least 12 years of experience.
  • Lecturer I: Master’s degree or equivalent, 9 years experience and a minimum of 4 journal publications.
  • Lecturer II: Master’s degree with 2 publications and 6 years experience, or a fresh PhD/MBBS/MDS holder.
  • Assistant Lecturer: Master’s degree, NYSC certificate, and relevant professional registration where applicable.
  • Laboratory Technologist I: Degree or HND with 3 years experience, NYSC certificate, ICT proficiency, and professional registration.
  • Laboratory Technologist II: Degree or HND with NYSC and ICT knowledge.
