Azman University Kano Seeks Collaboration with Jigawa State Government

The Management of Azman University, Kano, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fatima Batul Mukhtar, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Malam Umar A. Namadi FCA, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The visit aimed to formally introduce the newly established university to the state government and explore areas of potential collaboration. Discussions centered on educational development, research partnerships, and other strategic initiatives that could enhance academic excellence and human capital development in Jigawa State.

Prof. Mukhtar highlighted the university’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering innovation in various fields. She expressed optimism about forming a strong partnership with the Jigawa State Government to promote higher education and research opportunities for students and faculty.

Governor Namadi welcomed the delegation and commended Azman University for its vision in advancing tertiary education. He assured them of his administration’s support in areas that align with the state’s educational goals.
