Baba-Ahmed University Commences 2025/2026 Orientation Programme For Freshmen

Baba-Ahmed University, Kano, officially commenced its 2025/2026 orientation programme today for newly admitted students at the BM Dallahatu Hall (Auditorium 2).

The multi-day event is designed to seamlessly integrate incoming students into the university’s academic and social ecosystem.Delivering the opening address, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adamu Idris Tanko, congratulated the freshmen on gaining admission into the institution. He urged them to prioritize personal discipline, strive for continuous academic excellence, and strictly uphold the core values that define the university.

Throughout the interactive sessions, key university officials took turns enlightening the matriculants on critical institutional frameworks. Presentations covered the university's governance structure, strict codes of student conduct, and the zero-tolerance policy toward examination malpractice and other academic ethics violations.The orientation programme is scheduled to continue tomorrow with further interactive segments, detailed tours of campus facilities, and specialized briefings from various administrative departments.
